Hi.

Sports professional. Continuously seeking the next adventure, the next big thing, and the next cup of coffee.

Growth

My biggest goal when I arrived with the Astros was to grow the channels. For a team that was just coming off a surprise playoff run, the follower numbers didn’t hold a candle to the rest of the league. With Houston being the fourth-largest city in America and filled with sports-crazed fans, I saw the extreme growth potential.

I started by establishing a voice across all platforms. Proactively interacting with fans allowed me to see what and who they care about. I also learned a ton from our creative team; how they can help the channels and what our resources were. We were a content team that was going to continuously push the envelope, find unique ways to distribute, and connect with the fans in a way that the team had never before.

So far, the results have been fantastic. Using that established voice, keeping brand integrity, and staying ahead of the algorithm curve has been a huge part of the success.

We will continue to find new ways to expand our followers while staying true to who we are as a brand.
